love in a coffee shop the same in afterlife?
Scott and I met on a blind date many moons ago. I lived in NJ and he lived in NYC. Although I doth protest too much sometimes, we often went to coffee shops in the city. We still do and it's ok with me. I learned about the song Falling In Love In A Coffee Shop by Landon Pigg in the Mindy Johnson interview over at unruly-things and haven't stopped listening to it. In fact, the entire Coffee Shop EP provides a whisper of a time out at the end of a long day. So sweet.
Love Remains The Same from Gavin Rossdale's Wanderlust album is also really pretty and so is he ;).
On the flipside, I'm also loving the song Afterlife by metal band Avenged Sevenfold. I read that the drummer was expelled from catholic school for the first time in the second grade! There's no whispering on this album and Scott does mention something about getting a headache if I play it on rewind too much.

I really like Landon Pigg. His songs are well crafted, beautifully produced and there's something unique about his voice. First heard "Sailed On"... was hooked. This is just another one to add to the list.
ReplyDeleteI like that song too - so romantic, and very now...like how one feels about a place and person. Thanks for sharing!
