I hope you all had a good weekend! Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day here. Scott went with me to the fabric store to find some white linen for use as a backdrop and was very helpful making a decision. There must have been a hundred choices - if one was too yellow the other was too blue - I felt like Goldilocks. Camera-less (bad idea), we had lunch in Grand Central Station and then went over to Rockefeller Center. Here's another set of diptychs from Brooklyn. Happy Monday!
wonderful!! i love to place photos side by side - diptychs/doublets tell stories, invite comparisons, and are more fun for the brain to process, i think...
Hehe...I really love the Produce Bus in every sense. I'm quite enjoying your wonderful new series!!
Good husbands are so wonderfully useful, especially on the weekends. My hubby helps me make good decisions about minuscule details that I find (too) important!
i love those bike racks by david byrne and the pairing with the car is perfect- i love going to fabric shops- i know it's so overwhelming but so fun ! I really got into all the colored lining like material (silk like maybe?) last time- bright pinks and gem like purples and blues- so fun!
Great images, lovely colours, the weekend was a bit overcast here in the u.k but Sunday turned out to be crisp and sunny roll on summer! Im glad to see you had a good weekend too. Gem x
I love those pics It's great how they complete one another!! Have a good week!!

ReplyDeleteP.S. I've also noticed the lovely perfectly white header! The texture of the linen (?) looks great with the softness of the feather.
