main beach, east hamptonhope you caught a wave or two of sorts this weekend! this lucky lifeguard did and has a little fan, already. after creating our expanding
nyc guide we used it and went to soho with no camera! there was lunch for scott at
dean & deluca, a hot fudge sundae for lunch me from
van leeuwen, visits to some lovely shops -
purl (gift certificate!) and
makie (wonderful handmade clothes), and sitting in the park next to a tiny pool for kids on thompson street. we also saw
(500) days of summer and loved it. the song
sweet disposition from
the temper trap on the soundtrack is great. how was your weekend? hope it was
sweet.
xo, cindy
How could YOU go anywhere without a camera!!! I'm disappointed there won't be pics of SOHO, but loved reading about more of your adventures.
ReplyDeletehow sad you forgot your camera, would have loved to see it
ReplyDelete:)

this photos makes me desperate for the beach, and I miss NYC! Gotta get back there too. Great photo!

sounds like a wonderful weekend! i wouldn't mind spending an afternoon in soho!
ReplyDeletesounds like a fantastic weekend, i can't wait to put the guide to use next week!
ReplyDeleteNo camera?! You must be kidding! ;))
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect weekend! I envy you: NYC just within reach!
well, i had a disposable camera which is taking forever to fill up and not going to do this post any good. i just wanted us to have a 'free' day, but i won't make the mistake, again. i'll just have to go back a do it all over. oh, the sacrifices ;).
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture! I think surfing looks like so much fun..but so scary! Love the song also...I can't wait to see that movie!
ReplyDeletei'm a surfer-girl in my mind!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had a fun weekend--and it's also good to hear that you liked 500 days of summer-now I know I should definitely drag my boyfriend along to see it :)
ReplyDeleteYou weekend sounded perfect, cool and refreshing! xoxo

What a charming summer weekend! I had a lovely weekend at the beach as well -- although no surfing during pregnancy! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that Dean and Deluca's in SoHo- this time last year we were melting in NYC and spent most the summer by the Hudson reading Moby Dick and cooling off!
ReplyDeleteWaiting for Julie and Julia to come out this weekend!
it must have been nice to spend a relaxing day without your camera in tow. i'm sure that at least one or twice you thought oh i wish i had my camera, though. it is a true photographer who sees a photo in the making every which way she turns.
ReplyDeleteI chuckled about the camera. I thought I was the only one that gets excited about going somewhere and forgets the camera. Yummm... a hot fudge sundae for breakfast, lunch or dinner would be perfect for me. xoxo
ReplyDeleteLooking at these photos, I can smell the ocean :P
ReplyDeleteLove the post, love your blog :)
