  1. So fun!
The highlight of my summer was definitely my jamming warm summer nights consisting of: pie runs to nations (oh banana cream, you complete me), creative s'more making round a bonfire (Mint chocolate chip ice cream anyone?), blasting music & crazy dancing outside the car window, and late night treks up the hill to view the stars. This was my best summer so far, just taking it easy or living it up with some of the best people to have ever graced my presence.

  2. Hello!
Well the highlight of my summer was visiting Venice with my Husband for a weekend. It was boiling hot and we both took our sketchbooks with us (As we both like a little bit of drawing!) and strolled about in the beautiful sunshine. I had to resist the urge to jump into the lagoon - the water looked sooo inviting even though everyone thinks it is really dirty! So I dangled my feet in the water....

ooo and the old glass of wine or two was lovely!

  5. Had a fun time at the Jersey Shore this summer (despite the fact that I don't care much for the beach). Being with the family is what mattered most... and the kids had a blast.

  6. The highlight of winter for me was to discover its hidden beauty rather than just being unhappy about it being winter. I really enjoyed it this year!
My Wellis and camera helped me with that. And a live-in-the-moment attitude did wonders too- so when it stormed really badly, i just made hot chocolate, postponed anything i had to do outside until the rains were less severe- visiting summer blogs and knitting....sounds not so bad does it?
now that spring is marching in to the cape- i am extremely happy- winter seems a sweet distant memory.

  12. The highlight of my summer was spending most of it at home with my family. I travel a lot for work and miss many of the special occasions and holidays, but this year I was home for the 4th of July, my nephew's birth, my niece's second birthday and my brothers wedding.

  17. aww cindy..i just came to say hi...what a nice surprise...well, the highlight of my summer was driving down hwy 89, an expansive twisting road in Montana, the jagged mountains of the Bob Marshall Wilderness National Forest in the distance on one side, rolling landscape and sky as far as the eye could see on the other. The landscapes was absolutely the most pristine i had ever seen, golden-yellow grasses, wildflowers galore, flocks of swallows chasing each other along the fences, lone trucks coming the other way only once in a while. I had a perfect moment along that road.
    hope you're well too lovely.

  18. Hello and thanks -
The highlight of my summer was during our roadtrip to Oregon. We stopped along the way in Gerlach, NV (tiny quirky town) and stayed at Bruno's, where the owner is still tending bar at 86! I took some interesting photos of my 8-year-old daughter by some abandoned railroad cars at dusk. We felt like we were in another world!

  20. Lovely giveaway - I just love stationery!

Well, I believe our entire summer was a highlight! No moving boxes this year, like the previous two summers. Instead, we had a real vacation, real quality time spent with friends and family! I'm a little sad summer vacation will be ending soon - on Thursday, as a matter of fact, when the kids will be returning to school...

  25. hello--what a fun giveaway! the highlight of my summer *will be* going to NYC this week! [i hope] but until then, one of the best days i had all summer was sitting outside on the deck at my parents' house while we were dog-sitting, and just eating cookies and talking with my husband while a lovely summer breeze was blowing through the woods. with our busy schedules, those are the rare moments when you can just enjoy being outside :)

  30. Great site! My favorite this summer has been hiking with my husband. He's had a severe medical condition that for the past near-decade has kept him pretty close to home, but is now treated properly and we can have adventures again : )

  31. Your giveaways are always so sweet and thoughtful!

The highlight of my summer was going to the beach every other day with my husband, either for lounging under our umbrella or catching the sunset. All of our beaches here require you to trek up and down major sand dunes, making the experience all the more worthwhile :)
