language of flowersit all started with
essie sugar daddy nail polish. then i saw
suann's lovely stationery in the palest pink. a few hours later i pulled together pink q-tips and vintage vanity objects in pretty shades of pink or with pink roses, of course. the reflection was a happy accident. i really struggled with these and didn't think i had anything at all, but sometimes if you don't give up (stubborn) all is not lost.
happy monday. hope you had a great weekend! it was cold here.
xo, cindy

ReplyDeletethanks everyone! i think my hair looks weird and have tried to fix it in photoshop, but i lack the necessary skills. i'm probably obsessing, though.
ReplyDeletemichelle t - i've been collecting for years from antique shows, shops, ebay, you name it. recently, i've rediscovered some things i purchased years ago and it's been like getting new things. finally, all this stuff can do more than collect dust ;).
you are so talented, and adorable peeking through the photo :)
ReplyDeleteCindy, thanks for stopping by my photography blog! I'm enjoying getting connected with other folks through iffles. :) Loving the whimsical layout of your blog!
ReplyDeleteLove all the cute little set ups with the oh so girlie colors :)
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm a bit frustrated with my Nikon D90, and when I see all your cool pictures, I feel like I'll never be able to get great shots like yours. I have been having problems with pressing the shutter button then it not doing what it is suppose to do, like auto focus, then actually release the shutter!! Nothing happens. Then after fiddling with it, it finally shoots the picture!! What gives? I called Nikon, and they made me more frustrated. I also have the Nikon for dummies book, and it never addresses this situation. Any ideas?
sorry this post is long.
Ah, the pink ambiance is such a happy picture for Monday!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely and vintage-y and girly and well composed! You have a way with what you see through the camera lens. I'm glad you share it!
ReplyDeleteYou're making postcards/prints of these? Right? Please! XOXO
