hello, hello! there's a three-day weekend coming up to commemorate
memorial day here in the us and we have no special plans. but, i do hope to convince scott to go to coney island one day. they're re-opening the amusement park and i'd love to see it and have a hot dog. have a great weekend. hope it's
bee-u-tiful!

dwarf alliums & water lilies require you to get real low.
tall alliums & foxgloves allow you to see eye to eye.
there are two artists in the top photo. do you see them both?
Hi Cindy I see a bee yes, and I love the last diptypch, a long w-e lucky I guess It would be so much fun to go to Coney Island!!

The alium are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHappy Memorial Day!!
i'm trying to go flower-free this weekend to give it a rest :)!
ReplyDeleteconey island isn't looking good this weekend. scott works in that neighborhood, which is only 20 miles away, but it often takes him an hour and a half or more to get home in brutal traffic. when i suggested it, i just about saw tears well up in his eyes. oh dear. he said maybe next weekend! i hope so cause the new trapeze ride looks terrific even though i'm not a ride person - http://tinyurl.com/2a6bxqy!
Alliums and water lilies! Ohhhh, you sure know how to make my heart swell. Awww, just as well that you postpone Coney Island. The ride lines are probably very long.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great weekend anyway!
beautiful garden. :)
ReplyDeleteJ'adore that first photo... truly FAB!!!
ReplyDeleteDagnabbit - I just realized I made some comments on Flickr but not here... I love Flickr but I rarely go there because it sure messes me up!
ReplyDeleteI dearly loved ALL these blooms (and you know how I love pink!) but I've got such a thing for foxglove - they're just so unique! These ones are perfect too!
