hello, hello! for some reason, i decided long ago that the best source of natural light in our apartment was in a tiny corner of our
bedroom. but, after replacing the green balloon shades with sheers in our living room, it turns out the light in there is much better, which is good because i have a lot of things i want to photograph. i'm using the same set-up, but the light seems more white and is available longer.
the one draw back is that i can't just throw myself down on the bed when i'm frustrated like mari in the
babies documentary. oh well, there's always the floor :)!

the light is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures make me think of Alice and Wonderland with a tea party. :)
I really need to find a spot in my house - with winter I'm not getting outside as much and I'm missing my camera.
ReplyDeleteI do love natural light and the dinnerware is it from England, I'm coming for tea and cupackes!!!!

beautiful light and photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat light! Me too, I prefer natural light. I'd rather wait a couple of days for the perfect light to photograph, than using a flash. I can't even remember when was the last time I got my light box out.
ReplyDeleteWe have exactly three spots in the apartment with good light, all three of them no bigger than 1 (1 1/2 maybe?) square meter. It takes a lot of creativity and climbing to get the right angle!
You really do have some nice light coming in! Love the little pink and gold tea cup.
ReplyDeletei love your pictures and your light....
ReplyDeleteand i cannot picture you throwing yourself down on the floor! hee hee!

I loved your description of little baby Mari--I feel like that quite frequently :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wondrous weekend, love!
that second shot is classic quaint handmade! don't you love getting to know the corners of your rooms and finding out which ones have the best light, where it lasts the longest? (and it's an ever-shifting game as the seasons change!)
ReplyDeleteLook at all that beautiful color! Aren't you glad that the only place for natural light isn't the bathroom? :)
