hello, hello! thank you all for your good wishes for charlie. he did really well and even fell asleep during the treatment at one point. after he was done, i walked over to park avenue to see
will ryman's fabulous large scale
roses, which are a breath of fresh air in light of all the snow we've had, lately. measuring 5-10' in diameter they are made from fiberglass & steel and adorned with beetles, bees, ladybugs (good luck?) and aphids. the longest stems at 25' tall leave 2' of snow looking like icing on a cake. enjoy your weekend!
xo, cindy
ps
design for mankind had the
coolest video from
olafur arnalds featuring colored smoke this week. or should i say, the hottest ;)?
It looks like things are coming up roses in NY! Smile... xo
ReplyDeleteI love giant sculptures like that. There is a gigantic bow and arrow that sits by the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, and it is so cool looking in all it's whimsy. They put that sculpture up while we were living in France, and it was such a nice thing to see when we came back!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the flower sculpture is giving hope for spring for you poor souls out there.
Stay warm.
How amazing are they :) it's like spring is on the way!
ReplyDeleteHave a super weekend Cindy- treat yourself to something amazing. I treated myself to a red velvet cupcake and it was majorly delicious.
They're awesome! I think i'd like one in my tiny backyard :) Have a great weekend!
