i recently learned about the band the civil wars and love them, especially the song falling. i suppose it's an appropriate band to mention today since it's the 150th anniversary of the civil war. but actually, i wish there were no war anniversaries to commemorate.

I just love seeing all the blooming trees this time of year, as you can tell by my post. Berkeley has the most beautiful gardens, since it is closer to the bay the plants love it more than out my way, which is only a 10 min drive. Our climate is hot, hot in the summer and much colder in the winter than Berkeley.
oh, you flower magician you. these look even more real than the real thing! i think you could even take the dying seedlings in our kitchen and make them look magnificent.
