over the years, i've made a lot of dear blogging friends through aimee's artysville blog and found endless inspiration from her creativity. right about now she's probably super busy (tearing her hair out) as she gets her family ready to move to the nyc area for a new chapter in their lives. i pulled together some artsy-style photos in order to reassure aimee that one thing she doesn't have to worry about is finding plenty of doodle-worthy inspiration this side of the mississippi.

    WOW...I LOVE Charlie's photo you took...and the little write up was perfect...
    it really touched my heart...I remember my Gran's hands really well...and my grandpa...but I wish I had photos...
    You photos for Aimee are fantastic...I love the last one...only london,new york and tokyo would you find fashions like that!

    Thanks, Cindy - these photos are amazing and I can't wait to tear up the town with you once we're settled! Believe it or not, I am getting a head start - i'm in manhattan right now driving street vendors bonkers trying to take pics of their signs and wares...
