these pics were taken at the
new york botanical garden
the day after i went to the emergency room for the first time ever
because i was suddenly seeing spots and lightening flashes out of the
side of my left eye. the flashes seem to be gone, but not the spots.
apparently, it's part of the aging process associated with
nearsightedness, and i say a hearty ugh, although i'd rather say
something that rhymes with yuck. enjoy your weekend!
xo, cindy
getting old sucks. but pink peonies are pretty and soften the blow.
ReplyDeletePainted Fish Studio said it PERFECTLY!!! And I'm glad you're okay! xoxoxo
ReplyDeletewell I hope you feel better those flowers are so happy and cheerful!
ReplyDeleteOh noooooooo! Oh my, that sounds awful. Sounds like there's a party in your head and you weren't invited. :(
ReplyDeleteI love your peonies, though. Peonies are my favorite.
Oh no Cindy!!! I'm so glad you are ok.
ReplyDeleteAre you getting any headaches too? I see spots and flashes but they are before a migraine.......
Love your pretty pink flowers.

You were right to go the emergency room - what you describe is often what happens with a detached retina. And that is better caught sooner rather than later!
ReplyDeleteI can practically smell the peonies in your photos!!
I want to grow these in my backyard someday... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I love peonies, they seem to be almost rose-like, but better than roses if you know what I mean?
