Despite her best efforts to chill, and feeling like last week was the best week ever, and the luckiest girl in the world, someone has gotten her knickers in a twist. Although it's all for good reasons, i.e. migration from an old pc to a mac, new bedroom furniture after 20+ years, and a new slipcover for the new couch, change can still be stressful.
Once the raging OCD is in check, she hopes to be back on track with stories and pics. After all, it was self-inflicted.
it's kind of like having cosmetic surgery, not that i've had any. you know you're probably going to look better, but the procedure and healing make you feel "uncomfortable".
oh my, that is some picture! (i hope "someone's" knickers untwist soon, because i can't wait to see more.. :)

Change can be hard...even if it is good. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way, so I know the feeling. You feel like a cat with it's fur combed the wrong way!!
ReplyDeletethanks diana!
ReplyDeleteelizabeth, i love your analogy. sometimes it's like getting wound up like a clock and logic + patience go out the window even though i know better.
hang in there with the new mac. it will be so worth it!! try saying the mantra i try to follow -- let it roll, let it roll, let it roll!
ReplyDeleteYou'll look back on these days and laugh, laugh, laugh...eventually. :) Good luck with al the changes

P.S. You'll LOVE your mac
