This photo of a Mama duck and her ducklings crossing Park Avenue, against the light, was on the cover of the New York Post today. We couldn't resist posting a picture as it is so cute.
Cab driver, Sergio Castillo, stopped his car to make sure they made it across all intact before volunteers returned them safely to Central Park. Needless to say, they tried to elude capture, and were allegedly on their way to Bloomingdale's ;).

so cute. what a chivalrous cab driver! we have ducks in our neighborhood and i am delighted when i see them toddling around our yard!
