garden : lilacs

Hi Everyone -

I'm so happy you guys liked the pink cherry blossoms and hope you had a very nice weekend. One of the nicest surprises we found during our visit to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden was the lilac collection and the little cutie above who was enjoying their wonderful fragrance. Happy Monday!

xo, Cindy

PS Do you see a heart in the last photo or is it wishful thinking on my part because lilac's were Helen's favorite flower?

PPS There's something neat here.

  11. I DO see a heart! Most definitely. These are beautiful. We just discovered over the weekend that we have a lilac tree in our backyard. It's so fun to discover new things like that when you move into a home pre-spring. We also have some rose bushes and tomato plants!

  17. Your pictures are wonderful, and I see that you are becoming an excellent aperture expert! I can almost smell the beautiful lilacs, and I do see the beautiful heart in the last photo. I also see a heart in the leaf next to the lilac in the very first photo too. It's nature's subliminal messaging at its best :)
