life : frozen in time

song : great companion by landon pigg
this song always reminds me of the loss of a pet.

thank you so much for your sweet words here and over at the lovelies awards! i'm so glad (relieved) to receive some votes :). you can also nominate your favorite blogs/shops over there and i'm going to select a few to include myself. we're expecting a snow storm tonight and i just hope we don't end up like poor rocky who is still in our freezer and probably always will be. he had the prettiest blue eyes and still does, sort of.

have a great weekend, everyone. may the best team win the superbowl and bring on the olympics only a week away!

xo, cindy

  1. oh my gosh! you really *did* take a photo of poor Rocky for us! half of me is smiling to see his cute little face, and the other half of me is kind of misty because, well, as one of your readers recently said... he's a fishsicle! I must admit, I had never heard of this... option... until your post, so I'm still getting used to the idea. But I can honestly say Rocky is adorable :)

  2. Sometimes my brain fails me. I love the pink flower; I know what it is and can't think of it! Nuts!

I heard someone say the Saints have some magic going for them......should be interesting.

  7. I should send you a picture of this: a key chain I bought some time ago - it's transparent (plastic, resin?) and has a little fish inside... it looks a bit like your little Rocky, though mine is just head and bones, and orange... I don't know why I bought it - I had and still have mixed feelings about it, wondering about that little fish and how it got inside the plastic...
but i think it's cute how you keep your little fish safely with you.

Have a nice and hopefully warm weekend inside!
