we visited the
new york botanical garden this saturday to see the fall foliage. it was a golden day as
joyce would say.
a tree was in the shape & colors of the sun and there were roses in the middle of november in the northeast!
majestic redwood trees planted in the 1950s were favorites and thank you mother nature for the prop styling ;). it was a good day!

Gorgeous! My daughter and her husband are in New York this week, and staying with friends in Brooklyn. They went on a whim, so I don't know what they will be able to see.
Hopefully they will see some of this pretty foliage.
Dazzling! Third picture down....wow. You know, I pass by bags of pine cones at the craftstore, and they aren't nearly as perfect as that trio.
P.S. the 3rd photo down? the one of the huge tree? it seriously took my breath away! MAGNIFICENT!
