Acorns
Coneflower Seed Pod
hello, hello! fall is upon us and i love the combination of brown & green. the acorns are so tiny - smaller than a dime, while the coneflower seed pod reminds me of a sea urchin. would you believe by the mavericks just played on the radio and it's such a great song.

I love the acorn photo. Our acorn trees are struggling this year. The nuts have fallen early and the leaves went from green to curly brown. lol... Enjoy my friend. xo

Acorns just scream fall- I think it's the whole storing the chipmunks storing the acorns for winter.

That acorn photo is my favourite too. One of my favourite 'fall photos' I've seen this year I think (yep, seriously).

The acorn shot is my favorite, Cindy. I love the close up of tones and texture.

What is it about acorns?! I love them so, so much. Ours are a bit bigger out here, but I sure do like the ones you have pictured.

Oh my gosh Cindy, I have been so absent! And when I comment on your Flickr pics I think I've commented here (because I'm demented).

*LOVE* the acorns - the entire photo, with the lighting, colors, texture, placement........ it's simply perfect. I think I even marked it as a fave on Flickr.

Amy from Mod Podge Rocks did the cutest thing w/ acorns - she meticulously painted them turquoise (!!!) and then displayed them in a glass jar! So cute!
