hello, hello! this week has been all about staying home and puttering around indoors, which is fine with me. so far so good with my 365 project, but there have been a few close calls when i forget to take a photo early in the day and have to adapt to artificial light - ugh. i'm determined to learn to conquer the challenge it provides by the end of the year, and at this point, setting my camera's white balance to incandescent seems to be helping along with using a tripod to reduce camera shake from the low light environment. enjoy the super-bowl & your weekend! charlie's a big football fan and i think he's rooting for the packers!

xo, cindy

ps i've been sorting through files this week and found some interesting things from former coworkers, including a ransom note!

I knew Charlie was a man after my heart! He is cheering for the Packers. We are going to our friend's home and they all are big Packer fans. One's dad played for the Packers years ago.

Oh my dear friend fake light or not your photos are always beautiful!
Enjoy your weekend and make it a golden one! xo
P.S. Gary finally was able to come home yesterday. I don't know who was more excited Bo or me. I would have jumped in his lap too, but Bo (40+ pounds) beat me to it!

I think the lighting is great! I have such problems photographing my work because the lighting has to be "just so" and I'm not a photographer. Would you and your amazing talent like to come to St Louis?

The ransom note is hilarious! Happy weekend.

I think the lighting looks beautifully romantic, particularly on the top one. Gorgeous shades of pink!

And that ransom note...too funny!

i love having the option for fake light! it's not quite the same, but it has helped me take the photos i want to take after the sun has set.
