thank you for your loving comments and emails regarding our dear charlie. although this part of life is hard, we don't feel so alone knowing we have friends who cared about him and us. i just wanted to end the week with some photos taken earlier this year in the conservatory at the new york botanical garden, which always provides us with some peace & tranquility in this hectic city. enjoy your weekend.

xo, cindy

You captured the light beautifully, especially on the yellow flower!

Amazing how, even in the harshest climates, beauty cannot be repressed. Visual oasis.

Sending you and Scott lots of love.

love your images from the botanical garden. So sorry about your loss. Somehow I feel like I knew Charlie too, just from reading about him here...

I tried to leave a mommet on this post but must have forgotton to sign in...sorry.
Since moving to Maine I miss the Botanical gardens! What a wonderful place no matter the season it is always a feast for the eyes. And always a place to find as your own sanctuary. I haven't found a place yet that can rival everything that the botanical gardens can offer. Thank you for your photos, it was a wonderful reminder!
