life : imprint interview

what to do : who to be : still figuring it out

Hi All -

Sweet Jessie interviewed me about the career change I made from legal to marketing a few years ago. I'm excited and really nervous, too. If you're interested, you can read all about it at Imprint Magazine. Thank you so much Jessie!

I'm back--it was a GREAT interview Cindy! I'm really impressed by the courage it took to even take the first step from one law firm to the next and then sticking with marketing in the end. WOW! You are inspiring, my dear :)

I especially liked your last paragraph on core values and being true!

Bravo!

That was an incredible read! I'm so happy to know more about you and I'm so impressed with all you've accomplished and that which you've challenged yourself. I think you are on an ever-evolving path, Cindy, and that seems to be a very nice way to live your life. Those core values are what's keeping you focused on what's important. Good for you. Yes, indeed, anything's possible! Just got to keep your eyes and heart open, right?

thanks erin! i attended an email conference a few years ago and seth godin was a featured speaker. all the other gurus presented the usual power point slides - hum drum. then, he got up and showed pictures of cows and light bulbs and actually spoke to us. he's great at presenting concepts.

thanks again jessie!

thanks so much michelle! i'm like my mom and don't give myself much credit as i think anyone could do these things if they tried. but, trying can be 'trying', especially in the midst of turbulence. i don't think i'm done yet, so you are right - keep your eyes and heart open. and, don't be comfortable saying these words 'i don't know.' always try to find out.

it's a little (immensely) nerve-wracking to put myself out there like that, but worth it if one person can find something positive.
