two views : calling you

Happy Together
song : lucky by jason mraz | colbie caillat {english}
and jason | ximena suerte {spanish}

i bought the wonderful calling cards from rifle paper co. for christmas and was worried i put the jinx on our marriage by saying 'happily married'. it still remains to be seen as we've both been a bit cranky, lately. i've grown tired of being 'nurse' to scott's left foot and he's grown tired of needing a 'nurse' for his left foot. but, after seeing the devastation & desperation in haiti this week, we feel ridiculous. i'm sure you know all about it, but making a donation to the american red cross for haiti couldn't be easier. it's the best text message we've ever sent. have a good weekend, everyone. count your blessings.

xo, cindy

ps une fleur por toi posted this week about the wonderful video haiti from arcade fire, which features the people of haiti before the earthquake. although it seems impossible, let's hope for better days for them very soon.

Your calling cards are marvelous :) And, from my little experience, those "cranky" moments are needed to balance out the blissful moments! Tell Scott I'm sending his left foot heaps of kisses so it gets better fast!

Love the cards! Hope that foot gets on the mend sooner rather than later... When the hubster and I are a tad edgy we have to remind ourselves to do the tiny showings of love (like chocolates or notes) to get back in the right frame of mind...

Have a lovely weekend to you guys.
(have you seen the dr. parnassus movie yet?)

Sorry about the foot ordeal :( I know what you mean about Haiti... so heartbreaking :( I love the elderly couple holding hands - just think of all they have seen in their lifetime together.

xoxo

I love your calling cards and the "happily married" title! The old couple holding hands is quite endearing -- an image I hope my husband and I will share when we are in our golden years.

Happy weekend to you, and indeed, let's hope for better times ahead for the people of Haiti.

Oh cindy I love this!!! Your calling cards are so pretty and I love the photo of the couple. It's so inspiring to hear about happily married couples (speaking as a single girl with lots of divorced friends:). It's wonderful to hear these positive stories. Praying for Haiti!!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Is Scott going to do the movie, "My Left Foot 2"? Will he do Daniel Day Lewis proud?

All married folks get cranky now and then. And it doesn't take a left foot to make it happen!

Love your calling cards!

Love the cards.

When our love ones are hurt it is not only difficult for the patient, but also for the caregiver. Many hugs to Scott that I hope soon his foot will feel better real soon and to you my friend, because sometimes all the attention goes to the person not well the caregiver gets lost in the shuffle.

Sending many prayers to Haiti and we sent in our check to Red Cross.

A golden weekend! xo

Very sweet image. May that left foot get better before there is too much crankiness. :)

The devastation in Haiti definitely puts things in perspective. I love Arcade Fire and the passion for Haiti that they have always had, thank you for the link.

The first part of your post cracked me up - I'm in a similar situation right now with a husband home sick for at least another week. We're still doing ok, but I wonder how the two of us will do in another week... =)
