garden | tranquil spaces

The Unusual
the unusual, especially the bitter melon and staghorn fern.

Sunflower
the quiet giant, sunflowers seem like such shy flowers.

Bees & Company
the busy, the bee in the upper left corner is covered in pollen. i never saw that before and have scott to thank for his eagle eyes.

hello, hello! shhhh ... it's august and i'm supposed to be very, very quiet. these pics were taken at wave hill, which is generally a very tranquil place. enjoy your weekend! xo, cindy

What amazing captures. That looks like quite a wonderful garden to spend an afternoon in.

The squash looks like an orange-y bitter melon. And I love the passionfruit flower...

I love your butterfly (flutterby), and I absolutely adore sunflowers too..... they seem to have a personality all their own, especially the large ones.
