Brooklyn Bridge Park
Brooklyn Bridge Locks
Manhattan Bridge
brooklyn bridge | manhattan bridge

jen is in town to attend the national stationery show and took some time to hang out with me, yesterday. i had a whole itinerary planned because i don't like out of towners to miss doing things they enjoy, but the weather can't be scheduled. it's been raining quite a bit, and although a trip on the staten island ferry was scrapped, a walk over the brooklyn bridge wasn't. it was chilly, but bridges do look cool through the fog and in photos.

xo, cindy

ps batches of locks are scattered here & there on the brooklyn bridge and i wish i had one to leave, myself.

Raining over here too! It just won't quit. There was also a ton of snow in Tahoe as well.

I have had so many dreams with the Brooklyn Bridge, and I have never been on it!

rain, rain, go away! you make my hair look like crap. and cindy, you'll be happy to know that i did not wear my "flatforms" in the rain today. but people really didn't like my leggings with danskos combo either! so people were still staring at my feet! ugh!

thank you so much for taking me 'round town yesterday. it's always so wonderful to see you! xo

Your photographs are beautiful.
Its raining here too, and it feels all wrong to raining so much in May.

Wow, your photos of the bridge are so mysterious and lovely! But I can't stop staring at the huge bunch of locks - almost like a "lock bouquet" coming right out of the wall - I've never seen anything even remotely like that (is that cuz I'm in California?)!!! I'm completely fascinated! :-0

Hey, thanks for your *awesome* blog comments! I commented back! :D
