life : survival of the dentist

song : hey, soul sister by train
delightful, delicious, delovely

hello, hello! well, i survived my experience with the oral surgeon (never felt so afraid, but shouldn't have) and a week with scott as as house husband (never felt so loved). i've been keeping up with your blogs, but have not been the best commenter. i will do better next week and have some things to show you (lots of flowers, of course), but i've got a lot of work to do, although it's more like fun!

speaking of to-dos, have you heard of teuxdeux? it's fantastic! the tasks you list, but don't cross off, carry over until the next day. i start everyday with things like these because i never cross them off -

* enjoy the day
* hugs
* smile & laugh

it's a little bit corny, but i'm always sure to have some nice things to do each day. hope you enjoy your weekend. see you next week!

xo, cindy

ps according to my version of the boudoir language of flowers from 1885, the pansy means think of me. so, the pansies are meant as a small token of thanks for all of your well wishes this week and always.

Cindy I'm glad the whole dentist thing is behind you and that Scott was the best nurse for you. I hope you feel better just in time to enoy the warm sun. xo

Yay, it's over, it's over! Glad it's over with, and Scott ROCKS.

I've never heard of teuxdeux, but I have to check it out. Sounds like just what I need.

I LOVE pansies! Thanks!

Glad you survived the dentist - one of my least favorite things to do.

Train - one of the most surprising comebacks of the decade for me. I thought they were a one hit wonder from way back when, but I'm quite loving their new stuff.

from experience, i know there are many worse things that could happen to me other than those requiring an oral surgeon, but i suppose you deal with the hand you were given. have a nice weekend, ladies!

That is a GREAT shot of pansies. You should sell it. In your etsy shoppe.

The oral surgeon put you to sleep,right? I'm glad you're through it and out the other side.

Have a great spring weekend! Do something fun!!

dawn, the flowers are johnny jump-up pansies and the cutest.

pj, i was wide awake, although my eyes were closed tight and my hands were white-knuckled until he said we're done. at that point, all of the anxiety was gone just like that - lickety split - oy!

right now, i have a massive organizational mess on my hands. i think i'm more stressed out than ever, but it won't cost me $1,100 to fix this problem and it's going to be relatively painless once i figure out how to get everything back in place - double oy!

oh, thank you for the compliment, pj. i hope to do that, someday :).

I'm glad you're back and feeling much better - I missed you! Sounds like no more dentists for a while. And I guess that's a big one to cross off your list...
Enjoy your weekend!

Yay, yay, and triple yay! I'm so happy and relieved for you that everything went well and it's over. How great to be on the other side of it! And that Scott of yours is such a sweetheart. I can't wait to see all the things - and flowers - you've got up your sleeve :)

The Walker family all had dental appts. this week, and Davy is getting ready to have his wisdom teeth out (I am sooo glad it's not me but I'd never tell him that!). I was the only one with a cavity and I'm afraid I'll never live that one down.....

Have an awesome weekend my dear! xoxo

Hello Cindy! Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments. I have been a bit MIA myself the past few months, but feel renewed and rejuvenated with the fast approach of spring. Even the rain is enjoyable. I love your recent images of flowers, so beautiful. So happy to hear your dentist experience was not too bad. I hope you heal quickly.
