nyc | quaint in the city

Porch
God Bless America
Hydrangeas
Garden Iron
Flag & Roses
Garden Chair

a little bit of quaint in the city from the fourth of july. it's not all high rises, steel and concrete around these parts and i'd love to see that porch at night. cosy.

ps blog-friend tamara is a wife, mom, blogger, artist, photographer and a musician. listen to her wonderful band handwritten letters here - i love the song the garden (surprise, surprise). they also contributed a track to a compilation cd benefitting the victims of the alabama tornadoes - have a listen here.

you need to publish a book called quaint NYC... i bet you could produce an amazing trove of goodies from "the quieter side", as jen calls it. these are so lovely!

these are gorgeous! Where was the first one taken? is that your porch? have you found an apartment for us in your hood yet? I keep looking and nothing ;(

I agree with Aimee - you have so much talent Cindy, you could SO do that!

I *LOVED* this post! Every photo is perfection! And I enjoy it so much when you show us the "quaint" side of NYC - a side completely unbeknownst to me unless I see it from YOU!

Can't wait to hear your featured artist - but it's 5:20am here and everyone is still asleep, hehe :)
