holiday tunes : the killers

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a very nice Thanksgiving with your friends and family. We did pretty well with an overabundance of food Mom-style. My brother did a great job of setting the table and making all the fixins' to go along with the food we brought. There were leftovers, but I'm already over it, and ready for some Japanese food today.

The holiday season has begun! Actually, it began yesterday as some big box stores were open all day! Michael's craft store near us was open from 4 pm to 9 pm! I don't think it's a good thing and can only imagine that the holiday-induced shopping craziness must give Santa fits. Here's some evidence in the very funny video Don't Shoot Me Santa from The Killers.

Love that Cadillac! Have a nice weekend!

xo, Cindy

Let the games begin with the holiday shopping and cooking right?! The killers have some of the best videos out there, very creative. Now if Brandon would sing more like he did in their first album that would be great.
I'm over the turkey too, and Japanese sounds great!

michelle - i love the sweaters, too!
krissy - on to the next one! hope your holiday was grand!
elizabeth - yep! you are right about the killers. they tried something new with sam's town and people didn't like it - i loved it, but it was my first album of theirs. i read the new album is more in line with their original-style and it's supposed to be really good. and, yes, they're videos are really cool.

Sounds like you had a great turkey-day. And, from the looks of your photo, it looks like you had an awesome meal.

so wonderful to hear your thanksgiving was swell!! and that video is hilarious!!!!!!!! i bust out the holiday records these days now... i lured isabella out of her worst screaming tantrum ever [she threw such a fit in her crib and tried to get out and did with a fall and more shrills from an angry and tired toddler] with my fave song "toyland" some orchestra from back in the 50's... a bit of bing crosby and a bit of mantovani [sp?] got that baby girl quieted relaxed and sleepy... yes, i do love some christmas music! it can lure a person to sleep or make them all hyped up and happy and wanna do some cleaning and sharing of love :) hehe...
