Wunderlust : House Rules

Hi Everyone -

Although we had snow earlier this week, I think spring is on the way because we've started to hear the birds chirping outside our window. They come back every year and make a little nest by our air conditioner. They sound so tweet, I mean sweet. The days are also getting longer and this weekend is daylight savings time, so we will change the clocks to spring ahead by one hour Sunday morning at 2:00 am.

Today's favorites feature Marichelle's wonderful series of tiny houses called 'House Rules'. I purchased house #8, I ain't no hollaback girl, because I'm not ;). It couldn't be more special and is made with so much care. She also included a handmade bunting because I was the first customer and it looks great on our art board.

This weekend we're going to see the movie Everlasting Moments (thank you Ambika). We're also going to visit Target to try and find the apron Orla Kiely designed. I've tried two times, already. If I don't get it this weekend, I'm going to make my own. I kind of hope I don't find it. Have a wonderful weekend! What are you doing?

xo, Cindy

Art : The photography of Yvette Inufio & Kirstybee is incredible, so soft and light.

Journals
: Lovely Julia makes the most exquisite hand crafted journals from beautiful papers, silk ribbon and antique buttons. Available in her Red Otter shop.

Music : If you're a fan of Sara Bareilles, you'll probably love Erin McCarley's debut album, Love, Save The Empty.

Video : The video for Fear by Lily Allen opens with the cutest trailer and closes with lots of balloons!

good luck finding the apron! don't spring for the pear kitchen floor mat - it gets filthy in a day and is uncleanable - quite disappointing. beautiful little house and flags - i love these colors!
